Peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Thursday, January 21, 2021, Bill Van Gurp of Chesterville, age 95. Loving husband of the late Mary Van Gurp (nee Manshanden). Loving father of Tony (Betty) of Chesterville, Gerty Tenbult of Oxford Mills, Peter (Bernadetta) of Chesterville and Gerry (Debbie) of Spencerville. Cherished Opa of Angie (Kevin), Jenny (Lee), Stacey (Marty), Mark (Amanda), Amy, Scott (Jen), Matthew (Rebekah), Michael (Rebecca), Amie (Brad), Taylor, and Great-Opa of Hendrick, Ty, Thomas, Hallie, Herman, Charlotte, Mason, Patrick, Grady, Claire, Lochlan, Hudson, Ava, Iya, Audrey and Heath. Predeceased by his sisters Truus de Brouwer and Antonia Wientjes and his brothers Herman and Tinus Van Gurp. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Holland.
Funeral Arrangements
Due to Covid restrictions a private family funeral service will be held at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Chesterville. Donations to Winchester Hospital or Operation Smile would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
