William “Bill Thomas Beecroft 2021

It is with profound sadness that the family of Bill Beecroft announces his passing at the age of 73 years. He is survived by his son Alexander (David Greven) Beecroft; stepson, John (Gail) Coffin,; step daughters, Debra (Bill) Kennedy and Tracy Coffin; grandchildren, Sheena (Chris) Dalseg, David (Jackie) Coffin, Timothy (Thao) Kennedy, Dominic (Leanne) Ducharme and Adrienne (Scott) James; great-grandchildren, Derek Coffin, Sarah and Ava James, Raven Ducharme, Lachlan and Henry Dalseg and Arthur Kennedy; sisters, Elizabeth, Barbara Beecroft-Berard, Brenda (Lloyd) Gibson and Amina Beecroft; as well as numerous relatives and friends. Bill will also be dearly missed by his friends in the walking group.
Bill was predeceased by his loving wife, Joyce Irene Beecroft (neé Rowat), with whom he enjoyed many years of happiness and many journeys; as well his parents, Bill and Dorothy Beecroft.
Born in Montreal to Albertan parents, Bill was raised in Edmonton and attended the University of Alberta before teaching in the Edmonton Public School system. Bill willingly gave much of his time in support of his family and step family.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, no service will be held at this time.
Memorial donations may be made in Bill’s name to the ARTS Senior Animal Rescue: animalrescuetransfersociety.com, Registered Charity # 809479793.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the University of Alberta Hospital Unit 3C2 for their care and compassion.
