William Bill Sharkey Jr 2021

After a long battle with Parkinson’s disease, we are broken hearted to announce the passing of our beloved Bill on February 13, 2021 at 72 years of age. Loving husband of Stella (nee Bercia) for nearly 35 years. Adored father of Kate (Ryan Kearns). Proud Papa of Declan and Rory. Pre-deceased by his parents William Sr. and Jean Sharkey. Dear brother of the late Tom (Louise), Lillian Giordimaina (the late Joe), Ella Walker (Norm), Jean White (Jim). Brother-in-law of Donna Nikolica. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Bill had a passion for travelling, looking forward to his yearly camping trips. He will be fondly remembered for being the biggest fan of The Beatles, and his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs and Detroit Lions.
A special thank you the nurses and staff of the Villages of Aspen Lake for their care and compassion toward Bill. If you so desire, memorial donations to the Parkinson’s Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
On Wednesday, reservations and personal face coverings are required to attend visitation from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. On Thursday, reservations and personal face coverings are required to attend the Funeral Service at 11am at Families First 1065 Lauzon Rd. East Windsor, 519-969-5841.
