It is with the heaviest of hearts we announce the passing of William (Bill) Pasieka on December 12, 2021 at the age of 82.
Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife Helen of 61 years, son Brian (Teresa Giesbrecht), daughter Carol Jones (Al), son Gord (Kim Caron) and grandchildren Matt (Nicole), Sara (Brad), Allison, Thomas and three great grandchildren Brooklyn, Stella and Wyatt as well as his sister Anne.
Bill was predeceased by his parents Peter and Pearl, brothers John, Michael and Joe.
Bill was born and raised on a farm near Teulon, Manitoba and moved to the city at a young age where he met his wife Helen. They settled in Charleswood for the past 52 years where they raised their three children.
Dad cherished time with his family, whether it was at their home, the family cottage at Poplar Bay, or in Waikiki. Dad was passionate about hunting, fishing, gardening, storytelling and sharing a good joke.
One of his proudest passions was being a butcher. He took great pride in owning Roblin Choice Meats for 16 years before his retirement.
