William ‘Bill’ Martin July 31 2021

Obituary for William ‘Bill’ Martin
On Saturday, July 31, 2021, William “Bill” Martin passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at the age of 80. Bill was born April 11, 1941, son of Kenneth and Mona Martin and brother of Carl and Ralph. He will be missed by his wife Dorothy, children Ken (Corinne), Kathleen (Peter), Jason (Cheryl), Eric Dunlop (Alison) and Jason Dunlop as well as all his grandchildren Bryen (Melanie), Danny, Ella, William, Drew, Emma, Everett, Joslyn, Aeowyn, Kaelyn, Alex and Kacey. He was especially loved by his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Bette and Murray Northcott, the late Margret Chinnick (surviving spouse Delbert), Wayne and Marilyn Paling, Bonnie and Phil Hoy, Kathy and Jim Gillies and Gary and Judy Paling as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Bill was a man of few words but many talents. He could fix almost anything and was always willing to pitch in on a project, to which many friends and family who benefitted will readily attest. We are sure that where Bill is, the weather is fair, the crops are flourishing, the pancake griddle and BBQ are hot, the beer is cold and there are Chet Atkin tunes playing on the stereo. A private family service will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg. If desired, donations to the charity of your choice may be left at the funeral home 519.627.3231. Online tributes may be left at www.CavanaghFuneralHome.ca
