It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing William John (Bill) Bannerman passed away peacefully on Saturday September 11, 2021, at the age of 89.
He will be greatly missed by his Ida, his wife of 56 years; their daughters Dawn (Wade) Woywitka and Kelly (Chris) Weldon; grandchildren Stephanie, Jamie, Jenna and Evan and great-grandchildren Korie, Jude and Calix.
Bill is also survived by his sisters Gladys Hodgson and Flora (Lornel) Pocha and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Special acknowledgement to George and Darlene Bannerman who were not only cousins, but life-long friends.
The family would like to thank Dr. Cyprian Enweani and the staff at Lenore Medical Clinic for the exceptional care provided to Bill and Ida. We are also grateful for the compassionate care Bill received by all the staff at RUH.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Cherished Memories Chapel, 591 Centennial Drive North, Martensville, SK. Interment will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 210 Wess Road, Saskatoon, SK.
