William Bill Ferguson January 1 2021

Obituary
William “Bill” Ferguson
November 10, 1947 – January 1, 2021
Bill passed away at 7:00 p.m. on January 1, 2021, in Saskatoon, surrounded by his wife and four children.
Bill spent most of his working life as a Carman, first with the CN for 18 years, where he was known as Fergie, and then with CTR for 10 years until his retirement. Bill also spent many years prior to that filling vending machines in the high schools around the city and was known to many as the “Candy Man” or “Mr. Chips”.
He was predeceased by his mother Louise, step-father Steve, father Kenneth, infant brother Kenny, and his father and mother in-law Albert and Agnes.
Dad will be remembered best for his sense of humour, big smile, and his warm, caring heart. He was always there to help others and there was always room for one more around the table.
Left to mourn his passing are his loving wife of 53 years, Elaine, children Elaine Jr. (Doug) their children, Drake and Chad; Darlene (Daryl) their children, Jordan and Hailey; Carolyn (Steve) their children, Kirklin, Walker, and Tyson; William Jr. (Brigitte) their children, Kelsey, Shealin, Sierra, Bailey, and Bella. All the grandchildren knew two things, “Grandpa was just one call away” and “If Grandpa can’t fix it, you’re screwed”.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered.
“We love you Papa”
A Funeral Service will be held at a later time.
