Obituary
Peacefully, at the Southampton Care Centre on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 in his 82nd year. Bill, beloved husband of Mairi (nee MacDonald). His legacy includes his beloved children Lori, Heather and her husband Marcel de Vos, Patricia, Chris and his wife Rachel, and Steven. Proud Poppy to Ashley (Elizabeth), Mairi Katherine, Callum (Skye), Logan (Riley), Alisha (James), Conor, Colin, Arie, Lucas, Liam and his great grandchildren Lyle, Rosalie, and Evangeline. Dear brother of Wilma McArthur, Diane and her husband Ron Gottschalk, and Ed. Bill will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Proud Boilermaker of Local 128. He will be fondly remembered by his boilermaker family. Predeceased by his parents Stewart and Stella Karcher, brother-in-law Robert A. McArthur and sister-in-law Shirley Karcher.
Friends will be received on Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 2-4pm at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 519-832-2222. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 26, 2021 at 1:00pm at Starkvale Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Children’s Health Foundation, London or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
