William “Bill” A. Turner
1938-2021
William Arthur Turner passed away peacefully on September 28,
2021, just as the sun set and with his family by his side. Born in
Beamsville, Ontario, he was the son of the late John and Mable
(Wilcox) Turner.
Left to mourn Papa is his daughter Laura Lee (Larry),
granddaughter Jordann, his brothers Harry and Roy, sisters Shirley and
Betty, his sons Billy (Nancy) and Douglas (Barb), daughters Cindy
(Cam) and Julie (Norm), many grandchildren, nieces and nephews,
family, and many close friends.
Bill was best known for his love and devotion to his wife
Vera, his family, and his puppy Magic. With his generosity and his
heart of gold, he was willing to help anyone in need. He had a
long-standing career as a truck driver for Shell Canada and was
involved with the church. Through this, and his many wood-working
treasures, Papa will live on forever in our hearts.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his loving wife
Vera, son Lloyd, daughter Sheila, granddaughter Danielle, son-in-law
Gerald, brothers Bob, George, and Johnny, sister Elsie and Ruby, as
well as his brother-in-law Dennis.
Papa’s family will be receiving friends and family
at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center at 330 Whitepine
Road in Riverview, NB (869-2007) with a graveside service to follow at
Fair Haven Cemetery, located at 1177 Salisbury Road in Moncton, NB,
with the dates and times to be announced when made available. To
