Will Brown Wednesday June 30 2021

BROWN, William Gordon Wilmot – Entered into rest peacefully in the arms of our Lord on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at the age of 76. He is the beloved husband and best friend of Lorie. Precious dad of Kevin and Robbie (Angela). Treasured grandpa of Tessa and Addy. Beloved son of the late Gordon and Merna Brown. Dear brother of Donna (the late David), Bob (Paulette), Arlene and Keith Wilson (the late Ralph), the late Earl (survived by Margaret). Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. Will’s many interests included hunting, fishing, travelling and spending time at the hunting camp. Will particularly enjoyed wintering in Arizona with Lorie. Will was the first to offer a helping hand to anyone in need. He was the life of the party, very witty and had a great sense of humor. The family would like to thank Dr. Stone and Dr. Hainer for their combined care of Will over the years and the compassionate care Will received during his stay at Extendicare. A private family service will be held at Riverside Cemetery on Saturday, July 3, 2021. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Kawartha Lakes, Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation or Extendicare Kawartha Lakes would be appreciated by the family and may be made through Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay or online at www.mackeys.ca.
