Obituary of Wilda Holmes
Holmes, Wilda Winnifred, age 92 years, a resident of Chatham and formerly of Thamesville passed away peacefully on Friday, April 30, 2021. Wife of the late Gerald Holmes (2016), daughter of the late Ruby Bright and George Cox. Survived by 2 daughters, Jayne and John Parker, Karen and Dennis Badder, 3 grandchildren, Jeff and Crystal Parker, Jennifer Badder, Tim and Joanne Badder. Predeceased by sister Merle and Weldon Brown, and survived by sister Charleen and Bob Reed, London. Also survived by sisters-in-law Leato Wetherald, Jean Law, Ida Holmes, and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Murray Wetherald, Thelma and Stewart Crysdale, Edna and Ed Avery, Allen Holmes and Allan Law.
A private family visitation and funeral service will take place at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, Thamesville. Cremation to follow with Interment of ashes at Mayhew Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
