Embraced peacefully into the arms of the Lord on November 13, 2021 at the age of 89.
Reunited with her loving husband, the late Zenon (2011). Adoring mother of Tadeusz Kalinowski, Chet (Ann) Kalinowski, Krystyna (the late Piotr) Krol, and Susie (Christian) Smith. Proud Babcia of Christopher, Vincent, Cory (Emily), Oscar (Samantha) and Christie (Cooper). Pra-Babcia of Athena and Aries. Dear sister of Jozef (Maria) Filarowski. Predeceased by siblings Stefania and Halina. She will also be dearly missed by family in England, New Zealand, Australia and Stoney Creek.
Wiktoria was a seamstress in England and was best known as a Polish Costume Designer for the Tatry Song and Dance Ensemble here in Windsor. She was also a member of the Catholic Women’s League and the Polish Alliance of Canada. Wiktoria was an active volunteer in the Holy Trinity Parish and Polish community. She was an avid gardener and won the Windsor Star Award for Property Beautification.
A special thank you to the staff at the Village at St. Clair (Talbot Floor). Donations in memory of Wiktoria may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the Holy Trinity Renovation Fund.
Reservations and personal face coverings are required to attend the visitation on Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Families First Funeral Home (3260 Dougall Ave.) Reservations are also required to attend the funeral mass at Holy Trinity Parish on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 11:00 am. For anyone unable to attend the service, a livestream video will be available from our website on the day of the service. Burial to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
