Don Webster, beloved husband of Donna (Stone) Webster for 63 years, passed away peacefully at Henley Place Long Term Care Home, London on Monday, March 8, 2021 at the age of 89. Don was of recently of London and formerly of Exeter. Loving father of Dave (Maria) Webster, Deborah Fuller, and Dennis Webster all of London. Adored grandfather of Sarah of Barrie and Matthew of London, England Fuller; Cody Webster, Michael, and Aiden Webster all of London. He will be missed by his sisters-in-law Marlene Burke and Sharron Buckingham, and his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Bill and Georgina Webster, and his sister Velma Harvey.
Don was proud of his 8 years working with Bell telephone prior to transitioning into his teaching career at various schools, and eventually becoming the commercial director at South Huron High School from 1967-1988. He was an incredibly proud member of Masonic Order. He was a Past Master of Lebanon Forest Lodge No. 133, Exeter where he was a member for over 60 years. Also, a Past District Deputy Grand Master of the South Huron District, a 33rd Degree Mason, member of the Mocha Shrine, and the Scottish Rite of Canada. Don enjoyed having the ability to contribute to the Mocha Concert Band, Mocha Trumpet Band, as well as the Dashwood-Seaforth Band among his many other musical interests. He was also a Shriners Road Runner and a member of the Board of Directors of the Erie Shrine Hospital for Children achieving Emeritus status.
Cremation with a family graveside service at the Exeter Cemetery will be held at a later date. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Shriners Hospitals for Children would be appreciated by the family.
