WEARE – Brian L., 66, of Caledonia, Queens County, passed away suddenly on February 3, 2021 in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool after a brief battle with cancer.
Born in Caledonia, Brian was a son of the late Leighton and Irene (Corkum) Weare.
Brian spent most of his life, working and leisure, in the woods. He loved to hunt and fish and have a good time. Known for his wit, charm and humour, Brian loved to play practical jokes. He especially loved to see his daughters, Candice and Melanie worked up. The more worked up they were, the more he smiled and the harder he laughed!
Brian is survived by his daughters Candice Weare (Dwayne Cluett) of Beach Meadows; Melanie Jackson of Upper Branch; son in law Graham Jackson of Grand Prairie, AB. His grandchildren Parker and Olivia Jackson. His sister Trinda Miller of Lantz; his brothers Darrell (Peggy) of Bayside, NB; Ross of Gatineau, PQ; Greg (Wendy) of Westfield and Jeff (Lesley) of Harmony Mills as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Brian was predeceased by an infant sister Vicki, brother Gary and former wife and good friend, Sue (Keating).
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A graveside memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Harmony Cemetery. No flowers. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com.Those who plan on attending this service are reminded to bring a mask, practice social distancing and provide funeral staff with contact tracing information.
