1940-2021
Wayne McDougall of Riverview passed away at his residence on
Wednesday, December 29, 2021. Born in Montreal he was the
son of the late Daniel and Elizabeth (Lucas) McDougall.
He was employed as a travelling salesman and later owned and
operated St. George Street Super Grocers Convenience and
Deli. Wayne was a passionate golfer and curler and loved
time spent fishing and camping.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Judy McDougall;
daughters Lisa McDougall, Wendy (Brett) LeBlanc; son Andrew McDougall
(Aimee Cook); sister Karen Knox; grandchildren Owen McDougall,
Kayleigh McDougall, Samuel Strang, Quinn Strang, Kai LeBlanc, Ayla
LeBlanc and several nieces and nephews.
Aside from his parents he was predeceased by a brother Bruce
McDougall.
Wayne’s family will be receiving friends and
relatives on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm
at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine
Road, Riverview (869-2007). Proof of double vaccination and
photo ID will be required upon entering the funeral home.
Donations in his memory may be made to the IWK or a charity of the
donor’s choice would be appreciated by his family.
