LeBlanc, Wayne Lawrence – It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the passing of Wayne Lawrence LeBlanc of Meadowvale, Annapolis County, 86 years, on December 22, 2021 at Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Wayne was born in Joggins, Cumberland County, to the late Hans and Louise (Bourgeois) LeBlanc. Leaving to mourn: his loving and devoted wife of 62 years, Jacqueline (Stuckeman); beloved grandsons, Donovan Andrew LeBlanc and Colby James LeBlanc; sisters Myrna (Girvan) White, Joggins, Lita (Richard) Fearon, Orangeville, Ontario; a large circle of nieces and nephews; special friends: Dr. Abdul and Jennifer Yafi & family, Bernice and Brian Jackson (Keighley, Nathan & Jordan), Andrew and Nancy Wilson. Wayne served as an Aviation Technician in the Canadian Armed Forces for over 28 years, during which time he traveled the world and found the love of his life in France. After retiring from the RCAF, Wayne could not sit home and began another career of 20 years with Canada Post. Wayne enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, golfing, and a strong cup of Tim Hortons coffee. Wayne was a true gentleman who will be fondly remembered for the twinkle in his eyes, his kind, caring nature, and his wonderful sense of humour. A special thank you to the staff of Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, especially the Emergency Department and the Medical Floor. Cremation has taken place.
