Wayne Moore’s life was filled with so much love, joy, laughter, smiles and hope for a brighter tomorrow – that will be carried on by his family and friends.
Wayne was an exceptional man, wonderful husband, loving father, #1 grandfather, a kind caring brother and uncle and a honest loyal friend. Wayne could always strike up a conversation with anyone, even strangers. Whether it be for 5 minutes or 2 hours, after talking with Wayne you knew he was a truly genuine person; someone you wanted to continue getting to know. Wayne had a very unique way of looking at life, he always tried to find the upside in everything. Wayne never wavered from his ethics and morals. He stood fighting for what was right in every aspect of his life personally and professionally.
Wayne always supported his children and grandchildren’s dreams and passions, he was and always will be their #1 fan. Wayne would always express how excited or proud he was of them anytime he had a chance. One of Wayne’s greatest pleasures was he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren; he loved playing with them, spoiling them and taking the time sharing his knowledge and passions with them.
Wayne had many hobbies; he loved traveling, hunting, Tai Chi, looking into his family’s history and all types of sports. Some would even say Wayne’s wife Cindy was one of his favorite hobbies. He loved spending all the time he could with her. Wayne’s absolute favorite sport and past time though was hockey. He loved all aspects of what hockey was and what it stands for. So much so, Wayne invested a lot of his time over the years as a Trainer, Assistant Coach, Coach, supportive parent or grandparent; teaching children from Tyke to Junior the fundamentals, skills and the love of hockey.
Arrangements are in the care of MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, Oxford. Memorial donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation.
Wayne maybe gone from this world but he will never be forgotten. He has left an amazing legacy – loved and respected by his family and friends. As Wayne would always say, “Keep Smiling”.
Love is a bond that death cannot part. Gone from my arms, but still held in my heart.
