Wavell “Brett”‘s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Wavell “Brett” Noseworthy on Thursday, November 4th, 2021 at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre at the age of 73 years.
He leaves to mourn with many loving memories: wife Josie; son Brett; brothers: John, Jim, Paul, and Mark; and sisters: Phorsha, Bonnie, and Sadie; as well as a circle of extended relatives and friends.
Brett was predeceased by: parents Edgar and Lavina Noseworthy; sisters: Elsie, Gladys, Fran, Ivy, and Gloria; and brothers: Joe, and Reg.
Following his wishes, cremation has taken place and a funeral service will be held on Monday, November 8th at 2:00 PM from the Salvation Army Church, Stephenville. Interment to follow at Hillside Interfaith Cemetery. Due to Covid capacity restrictions at the church, please contact Josie at 649-6111 or 643-9221 to request to reserve a seat. Please note proof of vaccination and valid ID are required to attend the funeral service.
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Brett’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
