Peacefully at Strathcona long term care on Friday November 26, 2021 in his 80th year. Beloved partner for 27 years of Joanne Janes. Father to Tim Hilliard (Holly) and Alex Hilliard. Step father to Jody (Ana), Stephanie Janes (Cory) and Robert Janes (Victoria). Loving Poppa Warren to Braeden and Zachary. Loving Poppy to Jack, Charlie, Frankie, Michael, Ava and Charlotte. Predeceased William (Bill) Hilliard and Daisy Hilliard and his siblings Paul (Gwen) and Jack Hilliard. Missed by his brother Grant (Lorraine) Hilliard, sister-in-law Joan Hilliard. Missed by many nieces and nephews.
Warren spent 40 years as a dentist in Orangeville. He had a passion for politics and volunteering in his community. Warren had an extensive knowledge of Canadian and World history and loved sharing that knowledge. An avid angler and hunter, Warren lived his life to the fullest and will be missed by many.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. A Private Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and Parkinson’s Canada.
A tree will be planted in memory of Warren in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
