Wally was born in Dresden and raised on the beautiful waters of Wasaga Beach. He was a very proud father and an exceptional hockey dad. His love for fishing, playing cards and shooting pool was known especially with his buddy Bruce. Walt also enjoyed the company of staff and friends at The Starlight Casino in Pt. Edward. He was a very proud member for 30 years of Local 793 International Union of Operating Engineers. It was with great sadness Walt was forced to retire last year due to his sickness. He truly loved his job and enjoyed the social with the boys on the different job sites. Throughout Walt’s sickness there is so much gratitude and thankfulness to be sent as he was blessed with the best medical care possible from London & Sarnia. Walt lived his Life to the fullest possible ability with his sickness. With courage & strength, and the will to Live he fought with everything he had and was nothing shy of a true warrior. He was a beautiful man with a heart of gold that will be greatly missed by all.
