Obituary of Walter John Sukkau
Walter J Sukkau was born in Hepburn, Saskatchewan on February 2, 1933 to John and Mary Sukkau. He went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on November 8, 2021 at the Three Hills Hospital.
Walter married the love of his life, Virginia Lepp, on March 7, 1954 in Hepburn, Saskatchewan. They had three girls, Brenda, Julie and Bonny. During their married life they moved many times but Walter was predominantly a salesman until he retired.
Walter loved the Lord and in his final years enjoyed sharing his faith at the Linden Lodge where he resided until his death.
Walter loved the great outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping.
He was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather. After Virginia passed in December 2016, Walter was very lonely and missed her dearly. Many times he spoke of being with her in heaven and now he is.
He will be lovingly remembered by his three daughters, Brenda(Larry) Williams of Linden, Ab, Julie(Richard) Csakany of Rocky Mountain House, Ab, Bonny(Greg) Esau of Airdrie, Ab, 8 grandchildren and their spouses, 11 great grandchildren, relatives and friends.
A private family graveside service will be held.
