The family of Walter Burnstick of Edmonton, AB announces his passing on January 3, 2021.
Walter is survived by stepdaughters: Lisa (Kevin) McDonald, Kerri Kistler, Brenda Hartzler and Tanya (John) MacAskil; stepsons: John D. McDonald and William McDonald; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Eliza; siblings: Delia, Rosie, Bertha, Sam and George.
A Graveside Service was held on Friday, January 8th, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. Alexander Cemetery, Alexander, Alberta

Walter was like a father to me , my name is Bernadette Peacock. We grew up with him, loved him very much and also took him in when no one else would otherwise he would have been on the street, I dont recall seeing any of his family for that least a decade He named me as his next of kin because I was always there Thank you Lisa for including me and others that loved him …in my opinion he could count on us !condolences to the family
