WALMSLEY William Arthur 2021

WALMSLEY, William Arthur
Passed peacefully in his sleep at Hillsdale Estates, Oshawa, on Saturday October 9, 2021, at the age of 92. A 41-year employee of ArcelorMittal Dofasco Hamilton, Bill was a strong man with a sense of humour and a heart of gold. He challenged those closest to him and never hesitated to lend a hand to anyone in need. His most cherished moments were spent at his cottage; fishing, dining with friends, and traveling to Cuba with his late wife Dorothy. Bill is predeceased by his first wife Theresa and son Billy. Dear father to David (Debbie), Joey (Lynette), Susan, Terri, and stepchildren Jocelyn (Al), Tim (Bev), Mark (Sharon), Kevin, and Richard (Cindy). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A special thank you to Alice, KathyAnne aka “The Boss”, Rosanna, Monica, Joanna, Kim, and the entire Blueberry Hill support staff, who helped with Bill’s care over the past 3 years. In keeping with Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service. Donations in memory of Bill to Canadian Diabetes Association or Alzheimer’s Society of Durham Region would be appreciated. Online condolences may be shared at makfuneralhome.com.
