Vivien Smith of Riverview passed away at the Dr Georges L.
Dumont University Hospital on Sunday, November 28, 2021.
Born in Solihull, England, she was the daughter of the Daphne Cole and
the late Peter Holland.
She was formerly employed with Rinzler’s Meat
Market and in her spare time she enjoyed sewing, reading and spending
precious time with her grandchildren. Vivien had a vast
collection of teddy bears that she had collected or were given to her
over the years.
Vivien will be dearly missed by her husband Grant Smith;
daughter Katrina Denne; sons Clayborn Denne (Alicia), Alex Denne
(Carol); step daughter Melissa Richard (Kevin); niece Wendy, nephews
Colin and Philip; sister Dallas Holland; grandchildren Dylan, Logan,
Charlotte, Maddison, Joshua and Olivia.
A private family visitation will take place at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine
Road, Riverview (869-2007). A service to share and celebrate
her life will take place at the Whitepine Baptist Church on Thursday,
December 2, 2021 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Frank Trail presiding.
Proof of double vaccination and photo ID will be required. Online
condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbsfuneralhome.ca.
Donations made to a charity of the donor’s choice would be
appreciated by her family.
