Obituary of Virginia Margaret Campbell
Campbell: Virginia Margaret “Jean” passed away at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on August 24th, 2021, in her 92nd year. Daughter of the late Rene and Agnes Della Coeman (nee Beehlar). Beloved wife of the late Hamilton Lee Campbell (2015), whom she married in 1953.
Jean is survived by her son Edward Lee Campbell of R.R. 2 Kent Bridge, and her three grandchildren Jeffrey, Justin, and Brittany Campbell.
Predeceased by her granddaughter Kimberly Erin Campbell, brothers Robert and Carl (infant), and nephew Carl Coeman.
Jean was a member of the former Howard Road Botany United Church, and a life member of the United Church Women’s League. She was active in the Sunday School, Mission Band, and Cradle Roll.
Jean loved gardening, toiling in her flower beds, and enjoyed all manner of birds that visited her feeders about the house.
At Jean’s request, there will be no public visitation or service. Cremation has taken place, with interment to follow in Botany Cemetery at a later date.
