Virginia Whitehead of Harriston, passed away July 1, 2021, at Caressant Care, Harriston, at age 94.
Virginia was mother to Hazel (Bruce) Emke of Elmwood, June (Jim) Biernes of Listowel, Merle Willfang of Hanover, Joyce (Pete) Scheeringa of Harriston, Larry (Darlene Wattham) of Wroxeter, Don (Anne) of Hanover, Doreen (Richard) Moore of Palmerston, Fred of Hanover, Marjorie (Len) Weiler of Walkerton, Betty Lou (Jim) Roxburgh of Kenilworth, and Norman McCurdy of Tilllsonburg. She will be remembered by her many grandchildren, sister-in-law Carol Whitehead and missed by her good friends Ira Newton and Mary Ann Conway.
She was predeceased by her husband Earl Whitehead, sons Earl and Ben, daughter Shirley (Clarence) Hahn, brothers Norman and Bruce Brindley, sister Helen Lamont, and son-in-law Lorne Willfang.
A private family service celebrating Virginia’s life will be held Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. A live stream will be available to the public through Virginia’s memorial page. Interment in Walkerton Cemetery.
