Virginia Rosina Desittere Oliver November 17th 2021

DESITTERE, Virginia Rosina (nee Oliver) (1939-2021) –
It is with heavy hearts, we the Desittere family announce the peaceful passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Virginia Rosina (nee Oliver) Desittere, of RR3 Tillsonburg, at the Brantford General Hospital, on November 17th, 2021, at the age of 82. Loving and much-loved wife of Jules Desittere, always a caring mother to her children Dean Desittere, of RR3 Tillsonburg; Cheryl Desittere, of Tillsonburg and special grandmother to Ryan, of British Columbia. Survived by her sister Patricia (Bev Held), of Bewdely, as well as by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by her late parents Stanley and Myrtle Oliver, as well as by her brother Ronnie Oliver. Many will remember Virginia for her 30 plus years working alongside her husband Jules, as co-proprietors of “Jules’s painting”. She enjoyed sewing and was renowned as a fabulous cook and baker. Above all else, she loved and cared for her family with all her heart.
In keeping with Virginia’s expressed wishes, cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service to celebrate Virginia’s life and memory will be announced later and will be held in the late spring of 2022. All who knew Virginia are welcomed to offer their support and care by sharing special memories, posting photos, sending flowers, or by contributing memorial donations to “Alzheimer Society of Oxford” or to the charity of your choice via Virginia’s online tribute page at www.verhoevefuneralhomes.com or by contacting the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes- Burial and Cremation Services Inc. (519-842-4238), which has been entrusted with all arrangements, with confidence.
