Virginia Melo – Passed away peacefully after a short battle with Pancreatic cancer, surrounded by the love of her family, at home on Saturday, October 2nd at the age of 75.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Manuel Melo, and her children, Dave (Heather) and Susie (Dennis). Her heart will go on through her grandchildren, Samantha (Diego), Jordan, Monica and Mason.
Sister to Adelina (late Arthur), Augustino (Teresa), Ermelinda (late Denis), Frank (Sarah), John (Elisa), Manuel (Tina) and Teresa (late Kirk).
Predeceased by her brothers Daniel, Antonio, Jose (Maria), and sister Maria de Gloria (late Jose).
Adored by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St., Cambridge, where family and friends will be received on Friday, October 8th from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Parish 53 Wellington St, Cambridge, ON N1R 3Z5 on Saturday, October 9th at 11am. Interment to follow at Parklawn Cemetery, 750 Fountain St. N, Cambridge.
As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to ParaMed Home Health Care or Pancreatic Cancer Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
