Violet Evelyn Windsor: May 25, 2016, to May 19, 2021
Heaven gained a beautiful angel. We are truly heartbroken to announce the passing of Violet Evelyn Winder. Beloved daughter of Holly Windsor and Charles Longephie. Loving big sister to Charlie. Beautiful granddaughter to Kimberly and Ralph Puchalski and Ruth Longephie. Violet will also be missed by her uncles, Andrew (Ivey) and Alex, and her cousins, Roselyn, O’Hana, Lincoln and Parker. Violet was a ray of sunshine and smiles. If her gorgeous long red hair did not stop you in your tracks her smile surely did. In just under 5 years Violet touched the lives of so many and was truly mommy’s little ladybug. Her happiest moments were when mommy blew bubbles, eating purple popsicles, butterfly kisses and just being at home surrounded by all who adored her. We are so grateful to Violet’s homecare nurses, Jennifer and Bindu, as well as her extensive care team at McMaster Children’s Hospital for all their love, care, and support of our little angel over the last few years. Heaven’s Little Angel You are one of Heaven’s angels now, A perfect little star. And when you shine the world can see How beautiful you are. May you fly with magic wings, On clouds so soft and white, May your heart be joyful, And your days be bathed in light. And though our hearts are broken, And your life was far to short, We thank you, sweetest angel, For the happiness you brought. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St Catharines on Tuesday, June 1st from 10a.m.-12p.m. Anyone wishing to attend the visitation must call the funeral home for an appointment time to attend, (905)-937-4444. All guests must wear a mask. A Private Family Service will follow in the funeral home chapel with cremation to follow.
