The family of Vincent Danna Hiltz, 76, of Bridgewater, announce his passing on Monday, September 6, 2021 at Ryan Hall Shannex, Bridgewater.
Born in Martins River, he was a son of the late Kenneth and Mildred (Hiltz) Hiltz.
Vincent loved spending time with his family and especially looked forward to Sunday dinners spent together with family. Christmas was always a favourite time of year as it meant seeing family, especially his nieces and nephews. A quiet person, he enjoyed going for walks for as long as he was able.
Vincent is survived by his sisters, Betty, Gloria, Patsy, all of Montreal; brothers; John ( Debbie), Auburndale, Leon, Montreal; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Kathleen, Vivian; brothers Harold and Maxwell.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy. # 3, Lunenburg.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in Martins River Cemetery, Martins River. Rev. Alvin Westgate officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the SHAID Tree animal Shelter would be appreciated by the family.
