Vincent Curtis of Miramichi, NB, husband of Marion (O’Hearn) Curtis passed away at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, NB on April 4, 2021 at the age of 76. Born in Newcastle, NB, he is the son of the late William and Sarah (Astle) Curtis.
Vincent worked as a guide at Big Hole Fishing Camp on the Northwest Miramichi. He loved the outdoors, whether it be fishing, guiding or hunting.
Vincent is survived by his wife, Marion; sons: Patrick and Tommy both of Moncton, NB, and Allan of Tracadie, NB; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren; sisters: Josephine Daley (Ed) of Miramichi, NB, Theresa Driscoll of Edmonton, AB, Ann Brown (Charlie Duffy) of Miramichi, NB, Peggy Thibodeau of Sus, NB, and Rosalie Dunnett of Miramichi, NB; brothers: David and Andrew (Linda) all of Miramichi, NB.
Besides his parents, Vincent is predeceased by a son: Reggie, sisters: Agnes, Frances, Betty Woodward; brothers: Frankie, Hugh, Gerald, Eddy, Leo and Myles.
Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later time.
As expressions of sympathy, in Vincent’s memory, donations may be made to the Canadian Kidney Foundation, NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society. Messages of condolence for the family can be sent through the funeral home website at www.bellsmeadows.com
