VILNESS, Cailen Daniel

March 13, 1998 – July 12, 2021
Born and raised in Kitimat BC. Cailen moved to Kelowna, BC in 2016 to be closer to his mom and for a short stint at Okanagan College before pursuing a career in construction.
Cailen was a kind, caring, and very loyal individual. His smile and personality were contagious. He was very outgoing and always made time for his friends and family.
He enjoyed weightlifting, boxing, and snowboarding. He loved his car. But most importantly he was known for the love he spread to those around him.
Cailen will be remembered as a loving and caring man with a genuine heart of gold.
Cailen is survived by his parents, Chris (Hayley) Vilness, Danielle Pritchett, his sisters Madelyn, Ana, Kharis, his brothers Declan, Layne (Kylee), his nephew Jett, his niece Maicey, his partner Jaydean Braham and family, his grandparents Trudy & Kim Vilness, Jill & Marv Fehr, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends and last but not least their fur baby Ellie.
Cailen is predeceased by his Papa Wayne Pritchett and his Uncle Ryan Vilness.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Brain Cancer Awareness.
There will be a Memorial Service July 17, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Springfield Funeral Home with Reverend Everton Weekes officiating. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the number of attendees will be limited. The family would like to invite all who want to pay their respects to join by Livestream, a recording will be made available to view shortly thereafter.
