Victoria “Vicky” Ann Breau
1978-2021
At her residence at St. George NB, surrounded by her loving
family on April 17, 2021, Victoria “Vicky” Ann Breau,
beloved fiancé and loving companion of Brian Ferris, went
on to join the angels. Born at Saint John NB on October 17, 1978, she
was a beloved daughter of Ronald and Carolyn (Maillet) Breau
of Blacks Harbour NB.
A loving companion, mother,
grandmother, daughter and sister, Vicky was survived by her
fiancé Brian, her daughters: Madison Shaw (Cody Sabattus)
and Haley Shaw (Jared Hastey) of St. George NB and Breanna Scott of
Blacks Harbour NB, step children: Kaitlyn Ferris (Jamal Gallant),
Nicholas Ferris (Karly Patriquin), Joshua Ferris and Jenna Ferris
(Eathan McIntyre-Kenel) all of Quispamsis NB, her grandchildren: Lucas
Shaw, Zane Sabattus, Mia Ferris and Noah Ferris, her loving parents;
Ronnie and Carolyn Breau, sisters: Heather Breau and Jennifer (Fred)
Spear both of Pennfield NB, Laura (John) Carter of Miramichi NB and
Michelle Breau of Blacks Harbour NB as well as several aunts, uncles ,
nieces, nephews and cousins.
Prior to her illness, Vicky was employed
by Horizon Health for several years at various facilities as a PSW and
three years ago retrained to become an LPN and was recently employed
at Centracare. Her many coworkers she met and worked with over the
years became a very important part of her life. Vicky cherished time
spent with her family and friends and especially her grandchildren.
She enjoyed singing and fishing, especially with Brian. She never
travelled very far or often but made it to Alberta where she fell in
love with the mountains. She enjoyed simple pleasures and occasionally
a little pampering such as getting her nails done with her friend
Judy. Her kindness, caring, friendly and especially her strength and
couragous way, will be long remembered and she will be missed by her
family and all who knew her.
At her request, the visiting
and living celebration of her life was held a week ago Saturday,
something she strongly wanted, sharing this time with her family and
many friends while she was here to enjoy it with them, which gave here
great joy. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at
11 AM from Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church with Father Rolando
Suplito officiating. Due to Covid 19 restrictions and protocals, the
capacity of the church has already been met. Friends may join the
family at the adjoining cemetery following the mass for the interment
between 11:45 and 12 noon, keeping in mind Covid 19 protocals and
social distancing will be in effect. In Vicky’s memory, donations to
the Charlotte County Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by
the family.
