Obituary
Vera Adams, of Wetaskiwin, Alberta, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021, at the age of 85 years.
Vera was born and raised in a small town in Saskatchewan before moving to Alberta in 1962. Her and her husband Nick eventually settled in Wetaskiwin where the family started their business of Adams Motors. In 1966, the family purchased Len’s Parkland and took up residence in the famous glass house made of 97,000 bottles after renovating the dance hall. Vera spent her years making many cherished memories curling, bowling and singing with the Choraleers.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Nick of 59 years; children Gregg (Janice), Mona (Dale), and Ronda; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three loving sisters; and two loving brothers, as well as numerous family and friends.
Vera was predeceased by her parents and one sister.
Due to health restrictions, no formal service will be held at this time.
The family would like to thank unit 35 at the Wetaskiwin hospital for the care they gave Vera during her short stay.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to Hope Mission, Wetaskiwin.
