It is with sad hearts that the family of Valerie Lee Hanscom
announces her passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Monday,
November 29, 2021. Born on November 1, 1953, she
was the daughter of the late Gerald and Uta (Corbin)
Larlee.
Valerie will be greatly missed by her husband Kevin;
children, Anthony Hanscom (Shawna), Kelvin Hanscom (Jenelle), and
Nathan Hanscom (Diesel); grandchildren, Dawson, Maddy, Kiera, Marshall
and Levi; brother, Ronald Larlee (Barb); sister, Nila Beach (Burton);
nephews, Doug Larlee, Greg Long, and Randall Grant; nieces, Kristy
(Larlee) Cairns, Valeen (Larlee) Rejean, and Elizabeth Larlee, as well
as several great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Valerie was predeceased by her
sisters Lena (Larlee) Long, Sally (Larlee) Grant and her brother Brian
Larlee.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 at
McAdam’s Funeral Home from 12:00pm – 2:00pm with a
funeral service immediately following in the J.A. McAdam Chapel at
2:00pm. Due to current provincial regulations, proof of
vaccination and government issued identification will be required for
entry to the visitation and service. For those unable to
attend the service, a live stream will be available at the following
link: vimeo.com/651843106 . In lieu of flowers,
donations made to a charity of your choice would be
appreciated by the family.
