Obituary of Trevor Harrison
Harrison: William (Trevor)
Resident of Gananoque, ON, born in 1949 at Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland, passed peacefully at home on January 7th, 2021 surrounded by love. He is survived by his sister, Heather Moore and his children, Andrew and Susan. Trevor is predeceased by his parents Bert and May Harrison. Trevor faced great adversity in his life, and through his unwavering drive achieved an incredible recovery from spinal cord injury. His determination allowed him to stay happy in his home on the river. His greatest source of pride and joy were his children, who he was always eager to talk about. Trevor was a skydiver, golfer, skier, boater, photographer and lawn care expert who never slowed down. He lived by these words:
“Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, “I will try again tomorrow.””
Mary Anne Radmacher
The family would like to thank Michelle, Mel, Kelly, Peggy, Deanna, Kate, BGH Palliative Care, Dr. Karen Smith, and everyone else who provided the exceptional and compassionate care that allowed Trevor to stay happy at home. Donations to Spinal Cord Injury Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
