Tim was born on October 1, 1942 in Truro, Nova Scotia to Maynard and Adele Woollard (nee Hunt) and died on March 23, 2021 in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Tim and his 4 sisters grew up in Saskatchewan with their parents who were both teachers. He married Mary Ann Koenigbaur on November 8, 1969 and they remained married for the remaining 51 years of his life. He became a teacher and taught in a number of Saskatchewan communities including Holdfast, Craik, Fond-du-lac and Sandy Lake.
In 1977 Tim and Mary Ann opened up TLM Confectionery and grocery. They ran the store in Kamsack, Saskatchewan for the next 21 years. He was a kind and caring man who dealt with people fairly. Many people came into the store just to say hello as they bought candy or a lottery ticket. Tim served on the Kamsack School Board and Kamsack Town Council.
Tim was a Riders Fan and season ticket holder but more a CFL fan. He supported his wife and children and was always present in the stands cheering them on. Even the other students on his children’s teams looked for him in the stands. He was a hockey scout most notably with the Prince Albert Raiders and coached both hockey and baseball.
In his later years Tim put his love of driving to good use and took many trips in Western Canada and the United States in his van. He also took a few trips to Europe and Australia.
Tim was predeceased by his parents; his sisters Ann, Trish and Lois; as well as his brothers-in-law Ranny, Rudy and Laurie.
He leaves behind his beautiful wife Mary Ann; son Michael; daughter Lee Ann (Chris) Gagnon; niece/daughter Serena Shane; his sister Jean (Harold); brother-in-law Benny; sister-in-law Carol; three wonderful grandchildren Andy, Jack and Olivia; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
No funeral service will be held.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Tim Woollard March 23rd 2021..
