TIBOR “TED” MAROSI
June 19, 1946 – August 20, 2021
Passed away suddenly in Tillsonburg, Ontario at the age of 75 on Friday August 20, 2021. Born in Hungary, Ted came to Canada in 1956. He grew up in Alliston, Ontario area where he met his high school sweetheart, Rebecca Marosi (nee McGilvray), who became his wife for 53 years. He was a loving father of April Kimmett (Warren). Cherished “Papa” of Abbey, Naomi, Emma and Toby. Dearest brother of Barbara Trtany (Turk), and brother-in-law of Wayne McGilvray, and Teresa Nagy. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Tibor and Emma, sister Mary Markus (late George), and brother Stephen Nagy. Ted was well regarded in his career being a Sales Representative in the plastic packaging industry for over 45 years. He had a passion for classic cars, an excitement for competing in stock car racing (No. 44) and the creativity he expressed in his drawings/art. Ted was a history buff and was always ready for a debate. The world will not be the same without you Ted/Dad/Papa, xoxo. Due to Covid-19 no service will take place.
