Thomas’ Obituary
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Thomas Vincent announce his passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility, University Dr. Corner Brook on Friday, January 29, 2021, at the age of 92 years. He is now united with his loving soul mate: Una Lewis and his beloved dog, Benji. He is survived by his children: Daughters: Judy Brake (Bob) of Ontario, Brenda Vincent (Helmut) of Ontario, Paulette Brake (Darren) of Corner Brook and Sharon McGown (Kerry) of Ontario; Sons: Thomas Vincent (Christine) of Whitehorse, David (Franora) Vincent of California, and Eric Lewis (Marion) of Ontario. Grandchildren: Crystal, Mindy, Bobbi, Leila, Ryan, Emerson, Patrick, Allison, Nadine, Dana, Jonathan, Andy, Jason, Amber and Marty and 11 great-grandchildren. Sisters: Kathleen MacMillan of Ontario, Marion Windsor of St. John’s, and brother, William (Marie) of Newtown. His sister-in-law, Violet of Newtown. He will also be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends for being a quiet and loving man. Thomas was predeceased by his parents Eleazar and Prescilla; Brothers: Lewis (Dora), Lester. Sisters: Winnie (William), Nellie (Noah) and Evelyn (Raymond); Brothers-in-law: Charles and Robert. A special thanks to our sister, Paulette, to Ivor and Helen and to all those who have been there for dad and the family. Due to Covid 19 health regulations currently in place, the family will be having a private viewing on Monday, Feb 1, 2021, from Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel, 167 Country Road, Corner Brook from where also the funeral will take place on Tuesday, Feb 2, 2021, with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating. Interment is to follow at Bethany United Church Cemetery in Summerside Bay of Islands, NL.
