1929-2021
Thomas McClafferty of Moncton passed away on Wednesday,
January 20, 2021 at the Kenneth E Spencer Memorial Home. Born in
Annapolis Royal, NS, he was the son of the late Charles and Josephine
(Murray) McClafferty. He was a member of Holy Family Church and was
retired from the Royal Canadian Air Force at CFB Chatham as a Sergeant
and was previously a Preventative Medicine Technician.
He will be dearly missed by his sons; Gerard (Roxann), Paul
and Sean of Moncton, daughters; Nora (Phil) of San Ramon, CA and
Gisele (Brenda) of Miramichi and grandchildren; Ken, Jim,
Kelly, James, Jodi and Quinn, sister; Karan of Bridgetown, NS;
brothers; Murray (Marion) of Trenton, ON, David (Fern) Halifax and
Seamas (Maurene) of Jerusalem, Israel and a large number of loving
great grandchildren, nieces and nephews throughout the
world. Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by his
wife Irene (Grant) and daughter Kelly-Anne, sisters Kay Sherrington
and Elinor Street and brothers Eddie McClafferty and
Tom’s twin John Andrew.
A service to celebrate his life will take place on Saturday,
September 25, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Holy Family Catholic
Church. The arrangements have been entrusted to
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine
Road, Riverview (869-2007). Donations made to Crossroads for Women
Inc. or the Food Bank Alimentaire would be greatly appreciated by the
