Thomas Leslie Tom Beveridge Tuesday December 29th 2020

Beveridge, Thomas Leslie
Retired Partner – KPMG
Past President, Kiwanis Club of Ottawa (1986-87)
Tom passed away on December 29, 2020 at the age of 78. Loving husband of Kimberly Wilson. Tom was extremely proud to be the father of Eric, Michael (Melissa McDonald), Stephen (Gail Hewitt) and David (Dawn McEwen). Loving grandfather of Kennedie, George, Quinn, Alex and Weston. Brother of Barbara and the late Lyn (Rodger Fountain). Also survived by his nephew Andrew Knight and nieces Lesley Fountain-Stewart and Deanna Fountain. Tom was an active member of the Ottawa community, proud Ottawa Senators fan and did as much as he could to support the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa since his joining in 1973. When not in the office crunching numbers or volunteering you would find Tom chasing trout at Lynch Lake. A Celebration of Life for Tom will be held at a later date. Donations to the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa would be appreciated. Kiwanis Club of Ottawa Donations
A Message from the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa
Sympathy of the Club – Thomas L. Beveridge
It is with great sadness that we announce that Tom Beveridge passed away today at the age of 78.
Tom joined our club in 1973 sponsored by the late Hap Nicholds and was our Club President in 1986-87. He held an important key role for many years during our Kiwanis TV Auction which was our biggest fundraiser that ran for 33 years.
He assisted with all of our fundraisers and always joined us on the ice the day of the Bed Race, he was the controller for the former Bon Appetit Silent Auction, and he delivered TV Bingo tickets. He was “like a dog with a bone” when a project caught his attention as did our club’s support of Early Intervention of Autism and his recommendation for our club’s $30,000 contribution to QuickStart in 2013 which provides services for toddlers who have been diagnosed with autism.
Another great memory was in 1990 when he Chaired the meeting that welcomed women into Kiwanis. He had Shirley Tomblin sign a contract not to leave during his year as president, and when she was retiring, he attained Rita Harper from KPMG in 1993 where he was a Partner for many decades.
Tom was a 45-year member of Kiwanis International’s Legion of Honour and just recently was nominated into the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa Hall of Fame.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Thomas Leslie Tom Beveridge Tuesday December 29th 2020..
