It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dearly loved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle, Thomas Lane.
Thomas was born on July 21, 1941 at Catalina, NL and passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 21, 2021.
Pre-deceased by father and mother, Thomas, and Mary Lane, in-laws Ignatius, and Mary Furlong, and brother-in-law, Fred Stagg.
Leaving to mourn with loving memories, wife Anita, daughter Cynthia (Leo), sons Martin (Jackie), and Terry.
Seven grandchildren, Mitchell, Peter, Daniel, Tyler, Alisha, Aaron, and Joel.
Five great-grandchildren, Madison, Gabriella, Hunter, Liam, and Jax.
Sister Annie Stagg, and brother Jerry (Susan). Sister and brother-in-law Elizabeth Byrne (Michael), Margaret Traverse (Phillip), Mary Power (Eugene), Albert Furlong (Loretta), and Kevin Furlong.
As well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Our family would especially like to recognize Lori Phillips, a truly compassionate and dear friend who went above and beyond for Tom during his final days. He thought the world of her.
To all Tom’s doctors and nurses in Bonavista and Clarenville Hospitals we extend a sincere Thank-You.
Cremation has taken place and a Funeral Service will take place at a later date.
