Thomas George Somerville Wednesday June 16th 2021

SOMERVILLE, Thomas George – Passed away peacefully at the St Catharines General Hospital, on Wednesday June 16, 2021, with his family at his side, at the age of 84. Loving husband to Joyce (Kneller) for 63 years. The greatest father to Dan (Joanne), Cindy (Don Nagy) and son in law Bob Hennessy. The most loved grandfather to Thomas, Sara, Jarrett and Colby Nagy.
Predeceased by daughters Joan and Cathy. Predeceased by siblings Ambrose Somerville, Arthur Weaver, Dorothy Woodburn and Muriel Mahood. Survived by several nieces and nephews.
Tom was a volunteer with the Willoughby Fire Department Station 5 for over 60 years. He enjoyed calling square dances monthly at the firehall, and enjoyed life to the fullest. The many years of camping, road trips and back road adventures filled his days. Dad taught us to work hard and play harder. We learned the value of family and always supporting each other. He was a joker and the life of the party. Family get togethers were regular and full of laughter. The garage door is closed Dad, you can rest now.
Funeral arrangements private. Cremation has taken place. Private family ceremony to be held. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish may make a memorial donation to a charity of choice. Memories, photos and condolences may be shared at www.morseandson.com
