Thomas “Dana” Snitch
1947-2021
Thomas “Dana” Snitch of Moncton,
NB passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, March 25,
2021. Born in Sudbury, ON he was a son of the late Roy and
Catherine (Savage) Snitch.
Dana was a graduate of Cambridge College; he then
went on to form a rocking 70’s band Warpig with Donmoyer, Ace and
Bretters.
His passion then brought him to NB where he founded
Maritime Fastening and Little Louis’. He created great
friendships and close bonds with everyone he met.
In his spare time he
enjoyed family, farming, hunting, fishing, making
wine, home brew, music, puttering around the garage and riding his
Harley Davidson.
Survived by his wife and best friend of 40 years,
Debrah (Lane); daughter, Randy Merrimen (Robert) of Calgary, AB; son,
Johnathon Snitch (Tracey) of London, ON; sister, Wendy Margolese (late
Lou) of Toronto, ON; grandchildren: Taylor, Elizabeth, Connor,
Kearrah, Danica, Clara, Tommy and Thyra Rose also survived
by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and
nephews.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by
his son, Thomas Snitch in 2012; brother, Paul Snitch.
A celebration of Dana’s life will be held at Little
Louis’, 245 Collishaw St., 2nt floor, Moncton, NB on Monday, March 29,
2021 from 2-4pm and 5-7pm. The family asks that people stay for a
short visit to maximize the amount of people able to pay their
respects to the family with Covid 19 restrictions in
place.
Donations in Dana’s memory made to the Shriner’s Children Hospital
would be appreciated by the family.
