Obituary of Theresia Adriana Smulders
SMULDERS, Theresia Adriana (nee Brouwers) – Peacefully at Bluewater Health, Theresia Smulders died on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Gerardus “Gerry” Smulders (2010). Loving mother of Robert Smulders, Sarnia and Ron (Kathy) Smulders, Ancaster. Loving grandmother of Donald (Paula), Milton, Jamie (Courtney), Oshawa, Ashley, Shakespeare, Brad (Lindsey), Uxbridge and Stephanie (Eric), Welland. Great-grandmother of Peyton, Elliott, Seth, Ella, Maddison, Cameron, Caleb and Alexandra. Also surviving are several nieces & nephews in Holland. Predeceased by her parents Katouw & Wil Brouwers, brother Kees and sisters Reit, Sean, Joopie, Anne and Nellie.
Theresia was a loving and loyal mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She enjoyed games, especially card games and tv game shows. Theresia was a proud Canadian and was very dedicated to the Sarnia community. She will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
A Private service will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Please note that masks/face coverings are mandatory.
