Theresa’s Obituary
It is with very heavy hearts that the family of the late Theresa Sarah Power announce her peaceful passing at her home in Corner Brook, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at the age of 89 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her daughter Mary (Bill) Fisher, her sons Stephen Power, Wayne (Cheryl) Power, and Butch (Patrick), (Karen) Power, her grandchildren Michael, Stefanie, lan, Lance, Andre, Shane, Tracy, Lori, Sara, Jordan, Crystal and Kyle, great-grandchildren Cole, Brianna, Jasmine, Meleka, Mila, Scarlett, Stella, Ayden and Bryson. She is predeceased by her husband Patrick Power, daughters Sheila Ereaut, Linda Winsor, grandson Jason Fisher, her parents Felix and Sarah Walsh, sisters; Mary Vincent, Madeline Tobin, Elizabeth Pennel, Anne O’Keefe, Margaret Power, and Gertrude Walsh, brothers; Thomas, Felix and James Walsh Also leaving to mourn, is a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation to take place at country haven funeral home on Friday, July 16th 2021 from the hours of 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral mass to take place Saturday, July 17th 2021 at 10 am from the most holy redeemer cathedral mount Bernard Ave with Father Terry officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or one’s choice.
