Obituary
Peacefully at University Hospital, London on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 in her 84th year. Theresa McGhee of Port Elgin. Beloved wife of the late Norman. Loving Mother of Liz and her husband Leo Campbell, Mike and his wife Shanni, and Doug and his partner Melanie. Granny to Daniel, Dylan, Michaela, Savannah, Aubrey, Declan, Josh, and Kathleen. Great Granny (affectionately called TT) to Hannah, Parker, Avah, and Mia. Predeceased by her daughter Kathleen and her son Norman.
A funeral mass and a celebration of life will be held post-covid.
The family would like to express deep gratitude to the health care workers at Meaford Hospital and especially University Hospital. The care and support they provided to Theresa and her family was above and beyond the call of duty. God Bless all of you!
Though we need to weep your loss,
You dwell in that safe place in our hearts,
Where no storm or night or pain can reach you.
Your love was like the dawn
Brightening over our lives
Awakening beneath the dark
A further adventure of colour.
The sound of your voice
Found for us
A new music
That brightened everything.
Whatever you enfolded in your gaze
Quickened in the joy of its being;
You placed smiles like flowers
On the later of the heart.
Your mind always sparkled
With wonder at things.
