Theresa Imelda “Tiggy” Smith
1935-2021
Peacefully at the Prince Edward Home on Tuesday, June 15,
2021 of Theresa “Tiggy” (nee McKearney) Smith of
Charlottetown, age 85 years. Beloved wife of the late Reuben C. Smith
and dear mother of Barry (Margie) Smith, Kim (Sterling) Peterson and
Darren (Kathy) Smith. Also survived by her grandchildren Meghan
(Drew), Mallory (Jordan), Spencer (Raelynn) and Bailey (Jordan) Smith,
Courtney and Brodie (Kayla)Peterson; two great-grandchildren, Wynne
Affleck and Adaya Smith; sister Eileen Veinot and brother-in-law
Gerald MacEachern.
Predeceased by parents Jack and Florence (nee MacDonald)
McKearney, and brothers and sisters, Vivian, Lyle, Helen, Patricia,
Gerald, Bernadette, Ivan, Kay and Carol.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral
Home. Due to current restrictions, a private Funeral Mass will be held
at St. Bonaventure Church, Tracadie Cross (by invitation only).
Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the
Alzheimer’s Society of PEI.
