Obituary of Thelma Fay Carson

The passing of Thelma Fay Carson of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Robert Palmer occurred on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Hospice House Fredericton. Born on July 3, 1940 in McGivney, NB, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (McConvey) Collins.
Thelma is survived by daughters, Roxie Palmer (Sidney), Vicky Palmer (Derek) and Nancy Storey (Doug); son, Bob Palmer (Sabrina); grandchildren, Jodi (Andre), Brandon, Kaitlyn, Jeremy, Cody, Joel and Sophia; great grandchildren, Sebastien, Mathieu, Callie and Wendi; sister, Myrtle Doak; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Thelma was predeceased by her siblings, Lawrence, Vernard, Cecil, William, Jackie, Jeannie, Elva and Shirley.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 11-1 pm; followed by the Funeral Service at 1 pm with Pastor Pat McAloon officiating. Those attending the visitation or service must provide proof of vaccination and government issued ID. Masks will be required as well. Interment will take place in McGivney Community Cemetery, McGivney, NB. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Hospice Fredericton (Palliative Care Resource Network Inc.) or to the McGivney Community Cemetery.
