Thelma Burpee 19342021

It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Thelma
Burpee of Fredericton on March 5th, 2021 at the
Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. She was 86. Born in Fredericton, she
was a daughter of the late William and Levina (Doherty) Wilson.
Catholic by faith, Thelma worked in the Dairy Industry, which was
where she met her husband, Ron.
She will be deeply missed by her two children Kathleen
Burpee-Levesque (Marco Levesque) of Fredericton, Michael Burpee
(Angela Everett) of Fredericton; five grandchildren, Emily, Myka,
Lance, Lycia, and Kyle; three great grandchildren; sisters Katie
O’Rourke and Bonnie Wilson; close friend Janice Webber;
various nieces and nephews.
Bedsides her parents, Thelma was predeceased by her husband
Ronald in 2018; her siblings Gerry Cornford, Colleen Thornton, Bill,
Ben, Marty and Bruce Wilson.
There will be no visitation or formal funeral service at the
family’s request. Interment will be held at a later date.
Donations made to Pine Grove Foundation would be appreciated by the
family.
Bishop’s Funeral Home Ltd., 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton
has been entrusted with his arrangements.
